The introduction of CCEC and DCEC exhaust after treatment system
The common rail fuel system injects the fuel to the combustion chamber, after combustion the exhaust gas enters into the exhaust system. SCR injects urea to the exhaust system by the urea injection system. The urea decomposes into the ammonia in the exhaust gas flow, also reacting with the NOX to form harmless nitrogen and water with the help of SCR Catalysts. Before emission the NOX sensor will check if the exhaust gas has met the emission standard. Because SCR System needs a higher combustion temperature, the temperature sensor needs to be used in front of the catalytic converter.
CCEC and DCEC makes perfectly integrated engine and after treatment Systems
The CCEC and DCEC SCR system includes four modules: Engine Emission Control Module, OBD On-Board Diagnostics Module, Urea Injection Module and SCR Catalysts Converter Module. Here is the list of some key spare parts of the urea injector system.
The CCEC and DCEC EcoFit urea injection emission system and its sub systems
This patent design is the key part of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) after treatment system, which is used to reduce the nitrogen oxide emission. CCEC and DCEC provides high reliability and the lowest cost products to diesel engine manufacturers. By lowering the cost of installation and making fuel efficiency better, customers’ products are more competitive.
Urea Measurement Module
The Urea measurement module is a highly accurate part in the process of injecting the urea into emission treatment system. The Control module calculates the accurate urea injection rates under the various engine working conditions, and the urea mixed air amount when the vehicle air compressed system is working. Then atomizing urea is injected to emission treatment system through the injector nozzle, and then mixes with exhaust gas reacting with the catalyst. But if the urea can’t meet the standard, it will cause serious damage to the metering pump, also reducing engine power.
Urea Injection Module
The urea injection nozzle is a highly durable performance component. The characteristic of CCEC nozzle is that it injects the urea in the center of exhaust airflow, minimizing the risk of urea crystallization. The design of the nozzle’s large throttling area also increases its tolerance level to impurities.
Engine Emission Control Module
The engine emission control module can precisely control the required amount of urea injection. It can also be used to control engines or other engineering components in the post-processing system.
Compared with other SCR systems the CCEC and DCEC system has the characteristics of uniformed urea distribution, high conversion efficiency, integrated design of Urea pump and urea storage, reduced weight, auxiliary air system, no need for urea mixer, reduce the system cost and the probability of failure.
Drives Guidelines for SCR operation
Drivers ensure the system is used in the correct manner and in the follow local regulations for after treatment use. It is recommended only to use CCEC and DCEC approved products and not to add, other ingredients. Drivers should check the liquid level every day. The compressed air filter in the post-processing system should be drained and replace regularly. Don’t disconnect the connector, otherwise it will lead to foreign matter bypass the filtration unit and damage the system. If it must be disconnected, you should clean the interface and its adjacent area before disconnect it. When filling with urea urea, should keep filter, filling equipment and adjacent parts clean. Urea storage containers should be stainless steel, aluminum, medium pressure polyethylene or high-pressure polyethylene material, storage temperature should be 0 to 30 degrees Celsius Urea begins to crystallize when the temperature is below 11℃ or when the temperature is more than 55℃ urea can lose efficiency.
